Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP has been organizing Suraj Sankalp Yatra in assembly constituencies in Rajasthan looking into coming assembly election 2013. Smt Vasndhara Raje, State BJP President and former Chief Minister is leading the election campaign along with Sri Gulab Chand Kataria, Leader of opposition in Rajasthan assembly and former Home minister.
Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP has completed their visit in almost all constituencies through Suraj Sankalp Yatra but in 11 constituencies in Alwar district and 19 in Jaipur. BJP will be in Alwar district soon after completing their election campaign in Marwar region. However, they will leave 19 constituencies in Jaipur where there will be a very large public meeting at Amrudon ka bagh, Jaipur. Sri Rajnath Singh, National President, BJP, Smt Sushma Swaraj, Leader of opposition in parliament (Loksabha) and Narendra Modi, Chairman, election campaign committee will attend the meeting and address audience along with several national and state label leaders.
There are two hundred assembly seats in Rajasthan and Suraj Sankalp Yatra will touch 181 constituencies except 19 that of in Jaipur district. The campaign is in its last faze and will be completed in the second week of September 2013 with public meeting in Jaipur.
